Mike Leung

Greetings, my name is Mike Leung. My journey in the world of arboriculture has spanned over 16 rewarding years, filled with diverse experiences that have allowed me to refine my expertise and deepen my passion for tree care.

As an ASCA Registered Consulting Arborist, ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, Urban Forest Professional (formerly Municipal Specialist), and Tree Risk Assessor, I specialize in tree risk assessment, large tree transplantation, and disease diagnosis.

Beyond the practical side of arboriculture, I am deeply committed to sharing knowledge and advancing the industry. Over the years, I have authored numerous publications on critical topics such as pest and disease management and tree risk assessment. I served as a Board Director for the ISA Hong Kong Chapter from 2010 to 2021 and currently contribute as Director at Large for the ISA Prairie Chapter.

In 2021, I moved to Winnipeg with my family and have since made Calgary my home base. My current focus is on developing urban forest management plans for towns and cities across Canada, working alongside the talented experts within our company in the Prairie region.
