Dora Liu

Dora is an ISA Certified Arborist specializing in GIS, remote sensing and urban forest canopy analysis. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Forestry and a master’s degree in Geography. Her technical experience includes tree inventory, drone and ground-based LiDAR, canopy mapping, spatial analysis and three-dimensional modelling for estimating tree structure and carbon storage. Dora integrates tree inventory, aerial imagery, land-use, environmental and demographic data to assess canopy distribution, identify canopy gaps and support Tree Equity analysis. Her combined forestry and geospatial expertise helps municipalities turn complex data into clear priorities for planting, monitoring and urban forest management.
